Innovative Perspectives on Computational Intelligence and Data Science
Modern digital ecosystems depend on complex interactions between cloud infrastructures, IoT systems, software supply chains, critical services, operational technologies, third-party components, and evolving cyber threats. Cyber-attacks are increasingly influenced not only by technical vulnerabilities, but also by geopolitical events, criminal economies, exposed assets, and supply-chain dependencies. This creates a strong need for computational intelligence methods capable of transforming heterogeneous cyber data into trustworthy, explainable, and actionable decision support.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, cybersecurity operators, and policy-oriented stakeholders working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cyber threat intelligence, data science, and cyber-resilience engineering. It will focus on methods, tools, and validation approaches for analysing cyber risk across interconnected ICT ecosystems, with particular attention to AI-enabled threat analysis, vulnerability prioritization, supply-chain assurance, auditability, resilience assessment, and evidence-based mitigation.
The workshop invites contributions addressing both scientific advances and operational experiences. Relevant areas include machine learning and deep learning for cybersecurity, NLP and large language models for cyber threat intelligence, predictive analytics for cyber risk, explainable and human-supervised AI for cyber decision-making, secure data architectures, vulnerability assessment in ICT supply chains, resilience modelling, and data-driven auditing of interconnected systems.
A central objective of the workshop is to bridge intelligence-led cyber defence and trustworthy ICT ecosystem analysis. By combining these perspectives, the workshop seeks to advance a holistic view of cybersecurity in which risk is understood not only at the level of individual components, but also across relationships, dependencies, evidence chains, and operational consequences.
